A woman explains something on a tablet to two friends listening over coffee at a wooden table in a bright café.

They may sound similar, but they work differently.

CE is what you use to spend. Value Sharing Rewards are what eligible Partners can earn.

Let's look at how each works.

1. What Is Consumption Entitlement (CE)?

CE is the spending value you receive through your iBelanja Participation Programme.

You can use CE to pay at participating restaurants and other merchants.

1 CE = RM1 in spending value.

For example, if your meal costs RM100, you can use 100 CE to pay for it.

The amount of CE you receive depends on your Participation Level.

CE can be used for purchases within the iBelanja ecosystem, but it cannot be withdrawn as cash.

2. What Are Value Sharing Rewards?

Value Sharing Rewards are different.

As an iBelanja Partner, you can introduce new people to the ecosystem and help expand your network.

When your activities meet the programme's requirements, you may earn Value Sharing Rewards.

For example, you introduce someone to iBelanja, and they become a qualifying Partner. You may then be eligible for a reward.

The key point: You don't earn Value Sharing Rewards just by joining. You earn them through qualifying activities.

3. What's the Difference?

Consumption entitlement

Value Sharing Rewards

Value used for spending

Rewards for qualifying activities

Use at participating merchants

Earn through eligible Partner participation

Cannot be withdrawn as cash

A portion may be withdrawn, subject to rules

4. Can Value Sharing Rewards Be Used for Spending?

Yes!

Under the programme, part of your eligible Value Sharing Rewards is converted into CE.

That CE can then be used to pay at participating merchants, just like your other available CE.

The portion available for withdrawal follows the programme's withdrawal rules.

5. One Ecosystem, Two Different Purposes

CE gives you a way to spend at participating merchants.

Value Sharing Rewards give eligible Partners an opportunity to earn rewards when they help grow the ecosystem through qualifying activities.

CE is for spending. Value Sharing Rewards are for earning.

That's the difference.
